- Structured author data
- Brand foundation
Roadmap
Each phase is only worth building once the one before it is solid. The prototype demonstrates the first two completely and the third and fourth as working interfaces.
Phase 1
The records everything else depends on: organizations, memberships, authors, books, series and the brand kit.
Phase 2
A platform-owned component catalogue, a token system, and an editing surface that renders the real site rather than an approximation.
Phase 3
Draft, review, schedule, publish and roll back — with domains, SSL and a canonical address. The prototype simulates DNS and certificate issuance.
Phase 4
Where the platform stops being a website tool: audience relationships, direct sales, launch automation and discovery between author sites.
AuthorOS is not intended to end as a better website builder. The structured author record is meant to power launches, press kits, events, campaigns, commerce, reader relationships, analytics and discovery — with the website as one output among several.
